Content
The speakers present how a translation workflow can be automated with a “Language Factory” solution. They explain what a Language Factory is, what requirements must be met for its development and how it is used. Technical components and workflow steps are described. In addition, the example of Roche Diagnostics shows how existing systems for terminology management and machine translation can be integrated and what it means for stakeholders.

Chiara Baffelli has been working as a Terminology & Language Solution Expert at Roche Diagnostics since 2016, where she is responsible for maintaining and training MT engines as well as working on terminology management in English and Italian for various products in different areas. She has a Master in Linguistics and NLP from University of Zürich.
